Satisfied! is a Christian support group for those suffering with obesity or food
addictions. Addictions and bad habits are rarely broken with will power. Often
the habit must be replaced for the person to be set free. At Satisfied! we learn
how to change our focus to develop healthy habits and begin to make small
changes toward total health. We meet others who are struggling with the
same issues and develop friendships as we journey together. Satisfied! is not a
weight loss program, it is a process for complete healing. We believe that the
Word of God can set people free. Weekly meetings consist of worship, devotions,
health education, discussion, and prayer. The goals of this group are:

God Loves You!
"Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate
us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39
God loves you! He loves you so much that He allowed His Son to die for you. He
knows you struggle. He knows you fail at times, but He loves you anyway. There is
nothing you can do that would make God stop loving you. When you’re hurting, or
afraid, or alone - He still loves you. You can find comfort in His love. When you
crave food, run to Jesus. Time in His presence will satisfy more than any food ever
could. It won't be easy, but never give up. Know that even in the most
difficult time, Jesus is with you. He loves you so much that He died to set you free.
Often, we allow guilt to keep us away from God. The devil will say things like, "You
can't even diet right. How could God use you?" or "How dare you eat like that?
God's mad at you now. He's not listening to your prayers." Remember that Satan
is the Father of all lies. He can not tell the truth. He speaks these things, because
the opposite is true; running to God will set you free!!! Confessing to the Heavenly
Father washes you clean. In His presence, you find love, acceptance, and
encouragement to continue your battle. Spend time with God today - you'll begin to
realize that His love can overcome any problem! Say it out loud - GOD LOVES ME!
Say this every time you crave food when your not hungry. Begin to realize the
meaning of this - You are loved - You are special - YOU are a delight to the Creator
of the Universe! Fall in love!
